| Valley Chess is a group of volunteers, spearheaded by Joel Johnson, who with tremendous sponsors, are promoting the game of chess in the Metropolitan Phoenix area. There are many tasks associated with the running of a successful, multi-sited, chess club and we can always use more volunteer assistance. Speak up, if you have a desire to help us out. |

| In addition, currently the club has no sources of income and operates at a loss. USCF Rating fees are a huge drain on chess club resources. Donations are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at any of the clubs. Please make checks payable to Joel Johnson. Thank you for your support. |
